He takes a moment to gently shove Philippe’s face away for a moment with an exasperated groan at how CORNY that feelsy statement hits him. He figured Philippe was a romantic but that was just a TOUGH pill to swallow altogether. His features sharpen for a moment as he grumbles and moves the student from his lap ( again ) and shakes his head.
“I keep tellin’ y’not t’sit in my lap while we’re at school but s’like yer ASS is magnetized er somethin’. LOOK–––”
HE PAUSES, gathering himself and what he wants to say considering his SEVERE lack of experience with properly conveying himself in a manner that isn’t HARSH & ABRASIVE. But he figured by now the younger of the two could probably handle it if he ACTUALLY paid attention.
“This–––WHATEVER s’workin’ jus’ fine fer me. ‘f y’got grievances then speak up but I ain’t exactly the touchy feely type. So yer gonna need t’be ok with th’fact that I probably ain’t gonna be sharin’ heavy shit like that. S’not really somethin’ y’should have t’live with anyways. You let me worry ‘bout takin’ care a that. ‘d rather y’focus on not flunkin’ m’class anyway considerin’ a college degree gets ya A LOT.”
